LOROS STOMP Raises £286,000 as Welly Joins the Elephant Herd

We’re absolutely delighted to share some fantastic news from this year’s LOROS STOMP campaign. Thanks to the generosity, creativity, and community spirit of everyone involved, the incredible herd of beautifully designed elephant sculptures has raised an outstanding £286,000 in support of LOROS Hospice.

This inspiring public art trail brought together local businesses, artists, and residents in a truly memorable way. Each elephant told its own story, transforming streets and public spaces into a vibrant celebration of art and compassion, all while raising vital funds for a cause that touches so many lives.

We were especially proud to play our part in this year’s campaign by sponsoring our very own elephant, Welly, in partnership with Anthony James Insurance. From concept to completion, being involved in Welly’s journey has been a rewarding and meaningful experience. Seeing our elephant take its place among the herd and become part of such a well-loved community initiative was something truly special.

The LOROS STOMP campaign not only captured imaginations but also helped shine a spotlight on the essential work that LOROS Hospice carries out every day. Their dedicated teams provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families across Leicestershire and Rutland, offering comfort, dignity, and guidance during the most challenging times.

We’re incredibly grateful to have been involved in a project that combines creativity, community, and care in such a powerful way.
